In March 2023, Haley and Finlay established Seeds of Scotland overlooking the Cromarty Firth, just north of Inverness. Seeds of Scotland are growing open-pollinated vegetable, herb and flower seeds in Scotland using agroecological farming practices. They are particularly interested in growing Scottish heritage varieties as well as varieties that will grow well in the Scottish climate. They strive to pay respect to the historical and cultural significance of each seed they sow and the stories they tell. Crops are trialled to establish varieties best-suited to the Scottish climate and hours of sunlight. Trial crops are kinfly shared with local farm shops and box schemes including Macleod Organics. In January 2025 Seeds of Scotland received organic certification from the Soil Association Scotland.
