These Organic Apricots contain no sulphites for preservation. The brown colour is due to being sun-dried: sunlight oxidises their flesh, which acts as a natural preservative. Sweet, plump, almost tangy, they are excellent in tagines, added to mueslis or used in baking.
Apricots are an excellent source of vitamin A, a very good source of vitamin C and a good source of dietary fibre and potassium. The powerful antioxidant lycopene is one of the carotenoids found in apricots.
