Paprika with it’s deep red colouring adds rich and flavourful undertones to countless dishes. Used often in Cajun and Mexican dishes it is high in vitamin C.
Commonly called the “garnishing spice”. Principally used to season and colour rices, stews and soups. Sprinkle on dry as a garnish to cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, devilled eggs or mix in foods where a red-to-orange colour is desired. Add a finishing touch to pasta dishes. Mix with bread crumbs and batter mixes for a red visual appearance.
